- Computer/Telephone Integration enables office workers to maximize the
- efficiency gain in telephone related work made possible by the use of data
- processing computers and the enhanced telephone services provided by public
- telephone companies, e.g. CLASS ad ISDN. It can distribute incoming calls
- optimally to the appropriate staff based on the callers' telephone number, the
- dialed number, and other relevant criteria contained within computer
- databases. It also coordinates the simultaneous display of the caller's data
- on the appropriate screen on the computer terminal of the staff receiving the
- call.

- SynreVoice Interactive Voice Response (IVR) enables a telephone to be used as
- a computer terminal for on-line transactions and enquiries, allowing the
- telephone user to by-pass live service staff altogether. Input via the
- telephone could be in the form of digital touch-tone entries or by human
- speech using speaker independent speech recognition technology.
